Time Management Hacks

If you have been wondering how to have more fun while completing your work or study-related tasks but found no solution to it, time management hacks come in handy in helping students dealing with this critical situation. Even though stress has become a part of the task completion process it can be handled in the best way if we get to apply or set up some effective hacks for ourselves.
Time management is a key tool in determining the quality of every day life that we can have. It gives a balanced approach with adequate amount of energy and time. Therefore, I think as a student it is important to manage the time well. It improves a student's ability to handle stressful situations too. I am going to share some of my time management hacks for students who are looking for one. Here you go!
1. Create a morning routine

The morning is a very important part of the day since it is the begining of the day. Therefore, it is crucial to have your own morning routine which inspires you to start your day productively. These are some of my check-lists for you to get some ideas:-
1. Wake up at 5AM.
2. Drink a tall glass of water as soon as you get out of bed.
3. Make your bed immediately.
4. Eat a protein and fat rich breakfast within 30 minutes of getting up.
2. Remove distractions

Check your notifications after completing the first task of the day. It used to feel like email was sucking-up most of my day. Because of this, I became obsessed with the idea of “inbox zero.”
Even with tools like SaneBox, shortening my messages, and simply limiting myself to responding, deleting and archiving, email was still time-consuming. Then I followed an email management technique named Yesterbox.
Coined by Tony Hsieh, the premise is that you don’t try to tackle your inbox at once. Instead, you only respond to a list of messages from the day before. Unless urgent, the rule is that you never respond to any of the emails you received today.
3. Minimize the tasks

As the day goes on, the quality of your decisions deteriorates. That’s why successful people are known for reducing the number of meetings that they make in a day. As a result, they shave-off a couple of minutes from unproductive tasks. What’s more, they have more mental space throughout the day.
Nick Taranto, the co-founder of Plated, used to wear only shoes without laces. Richard Branson has said, “If you really want to grow as an entrepreneur, you’ve got to learn to delegate.” And, Randi Zuckerberg, founder of Zuckerberg Media, uses an app that allows you to do anything with the touch of a button.
4. Set a Time Limit

Determining the amount of time to be spent on a particular task enables you to avoid procrastination. Having a habit, as stated by Charles Duhigg, the writer of the book entitled "The Power of Habit", makes routine tasks to be done quickly without having to stress about thinking which task to accomplish at the given time.
5. Planning your sleeping time

Rest is also a part of the time management hack. Perhaps it is the most effective hack above all. Getting adequate amount of sleep is vital to provide energy to the brain. This way you can stay energetic throughout the day, making sure you give your maximum amount of concentration to complete your tasks.
